Darlene Mitchell

Darlene joined Mitchell Insurance in 2001 to help with the bookkeeping and has proven herself an invaluable part of the team. She holds a BSN degree from Slippery Rock Uniersity and some specialty certifications in LaMaze, School Nursing, and Parrish Nursing, but she is not working in the Nursing field so that she can focus her energy on our six adorable grandchildren; babysitting, and visiting three of them in Durham, NC. She declares that she has the best of both worlds: working in the family business and being an intimate apart of our grandchildren's lives. She also hold the titles of Vice President and Secretary at Mitchell Insurance and manages most of the Accounts Payable for our many and diverse carrier relationships.
