The Position: We’re looking for a Producer in commercial lines property and casualty insurance, with the opportunity to expand in to employee benefits. The producer role is more than insurance sales, it is an opportunity to analyze and assess a client’s hazards and to offer solutions that protect their business and assets effectively and completely. Salary dependent on experience with opportunity for growth and commission upon validation.

Requirements:
- Current property and casualty insurance license or experience in sales
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or related field
- Willingness to assess risk and listen to clients regarding their needs, concerns, and challenges
- Dedication to continuing education and training and a commitment to the
- highest standard of excellence in insurance knowledge
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others internally and externally
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Self-motivated and independent worker
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with prospects and clients to understand their unique needs and offering solutions for protection, including, but not limited to appropriate insurance coverage
- Understanding carrier products and services and utilizing them to meet client and prospect needs
- Meeting planned sales goals
- Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect
- Collaborating internally to facilitate fulfilling client needs
- Acting as risk advisor to clients with a focus on improving their insurance
- coverage and hazard protection
The Location: Mitchell Insurance is based in Butler, PA. This is a great place to live because it is a thriving small community within an hour of Pittsburgh. We are on Main St in the heart of Butler within walking distance of downtown restaurants, shops, and housing.
