Commercial Insurance Account Manager

The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager in commercial lines property and casualty insurance. The account manager role is to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied. They build and manage client relationships, collect information, and ensure that needs are met, including assisting with invoicing, audit questions, claim questions, and certificates of insurance. Salary dependent on experience with opportunity for growth and commission for cross selling and account rounding.

Requirements:

  • Current property and casualty insurance license
  • Experience in customer service, account management, and claims’ management
  • Willingness to listen to clients regarding their needs, concerns, and challenges
  • Commitment to the highest standard of excellence in customer support and dependability
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft applications and CSR management software
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with clients to understand and meet their needs
  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect
  • Collaborating internally to facilitate fulfilling client needs
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to client accounts
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving their insurance and protection

The Location: Mitchell Insurance is based in Butler, PA. This is a great place to live because it is a thriving small community within an hour of Pittsburgh. We are on Main St in the heart of Butler within walking distance of downtown restaurants, shops, and housing.
